    St. John School 8th Grade Student Wins Diocese of Norwich Essay Contest

    St. John School 8th grade students recently participated in an essay competition, sponsored by the Diocese of Norwich Seton Scholarship Dinner Committee. Students were asked to write an essay entitled, "What Catholic Education Means to Me". The goal of the Seton Scholarship Committee is to raise scholarship money for the 11 PreK-8 elementary schools in the Norwich Diocese (including St. John School)… Read Article

    SJS 8th Grade Student accepted to Southcentral Regional Honors Band

    Congratulations to Jack F. in 8th Grade who was accepted into the Connecticut Future Musicians Southcentral Regional Honors Band. After passing the audition where he had the challenge of learning two new pieces of music, he then participated in an intense period of six rehearsals in three weeks leading up to the concert.
